Chardonnay, Castel del Monte DOC
A wine of great structure and elegance obtained thanks to the handpicked harvest of Chardonnay grapes grown in the spectacular vineyard called "Lama dei Corvi" (Crows' Landslide) made of limestone-rock on 350 meters above sea level, in the heart of the DOC Castel del Monte. The grapes are harvested in the second week of August and the must is fermented in French oak barrels of first passage in which continued aging of wine for the next 9 months. The complexity of the wine makes it the perfect complement to rich main courses, especially seafood dishes, and white meats.

Castel del Monte Rosso Riserva DOCG
A complex wine, elegant and austere that signifies the great potential of the "Nero di Troia" (about 70%), the main indigenous variety of the DOC Castel del Monte, that provides its essence, character and elegance, combined with other local varieties that provide to its harmony. Aged in French oak for at least 14 months and for a further year in bottle, goes well with red meats, game and mature cheeses. Well-preserved, shows great aging capacity.

Nero di Troia Castel del Monte Riserva DOCG
Puer Apuliae or “Son of Apulia”: so was called Frederick II of Swabia, the 13th century Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire who loved this region so much to make it his summer residence and building the majestic "Castel del Monte", leaving an indelible memorial for all mankind. Thus, Puer Apuliae, gets its name from being the child of the most representative indigenous black grape variety in central Apulia: "Nero di Troia". It is a wine of considerable character and style, obtained from an almost-forgotten small-berried clone of Nero di Troia selected in Rivera’s oldest vineyards, Tafuri. Modern-style vinification and ageing in new barriques have enabled us to make a wine in which the typical aromas of this variety, violets and star anise, are strongly present, supported by a really full-bodied palate.
